Clean your cushions and slings by wiping up minor spills with a mild soap and a damp cloth. Although the fabric has been treated to resist stains, over time it may be necessary to use commercially available cleaners. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Maintain your cushions and slings by storing them in a dry area out of the elements or cover them with commercially available furniture covers when not in use. If your furniture is being used in an area where birds and trees are plentiful, covering the cushions is especially recommended.

About Natural Stone
Stone is a porous material!
Stone is a durable yet porous material that will last forever if properly maintained. Your stone tabletop has been sealed using a special treatment to resist moisture penetration and staining. The sealer has a very long life, but does require proper cleaning and maintenance to maintain the integrity of the tabletop. It’s important to remember the following to maintain a beautiful outdoor dining surface for years to come:
- Acidic compounds found in many foods such as tomato products, mustard, fruit juices, wines, colas, vinegar and coffee can leave permanent stains in stone material.
- The porous nature of stone also leaves it susceptible to heat retention. Care should be exercised when handling stone that has been subjected to lengthy exposure to the sun.
In the event that your stone top is exposed to staining or scratching, below we’ve prepared a link to detailed instructions on how to renew and refinish the look of your stone top using a special line of products. Sealing the tabletop will help prevent or reduced the damage caused by acidic compounds.
Care and Maintenance
Stone requires special care!
Cleaning – handle with care
The stone on your table has been sealed. Maintaining the sealer on the stone table is very important and requires regular cleaning. Clean tops with a soft, clean cloth (one that won’t bleed color) or sponge. Use warm clean water and mild dish soap. Remember, you are not cleaning the stone, you are cleaning the sealer layer on the stone. Do not use petroleum-based or abrasive cleaners. Rinse with plenty of clean water to remove any soap residue. Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots.
Even if your stone tabletop has been sealed, spills need to be cleaned immediately to prevent staining or damaged to the stone. Always blot spills with a clean, soft cloth. Wiping could spread the spill. Repeat blotting with dry area of cloth until spill is totally absorbed. Rinse with clean, warm water and wipe dry.
Cleaning your stone top on a consistent and regular basis will help aid in a longer lasting stone top.

Making the beauty last!
Use coasters and placemats when dining. Coasters will help absorb sweating by beverage glasses or cups and also prevent hot mugs or cups from leaving a ring. Placemats will catch spills and prevent dishes from scratching the table. When placing hot food dishes on the tabletop, always use trivets, mats or hot pads.
Cover your dining set with an outdoor furniture cover when not in use to protect it from the elements. Furniture covers can be purchased at most patio shops and home improvement centers.
We recommend that your stone table be stored indoors during the winter months. It will protect it from cracking in extreme cold.
If it must be stored outside, it should ALWAYS be covered.
Repair Information
If, for any reason, the stone top portion of the table becomes damaged, it can be repaired using materials available everyday at your local hardware store or home center.
Materials needed for repair project:
- 2-part epoxy
- 150 grit sanding “screen”
- 320 (very fine) grit sand paper
- Pre-mixed tile grout (match color to your table)
- 511 Kleen and Resealer
Tools needed to complete the process:
- Putty knife
- Sponge
- Bucket
- Wire Brush
- Save any and all loose pieces of stone that have broken off the table.
- Use the putty knife to pry off any pieces around the break that may be loose and then use the wire brush to clean the surface of the underlying layer (substrate) at the point of the break.
- Dry fit the pieces back into the site of the break in order to determine where in the break they belong. On a separate surface, place them in the order in which they belong.
- Mix the 2-part epoxy.
- Apply a thin coating of epoxy to the underlying layer in a “buttering” fashion.
- Take the pieces, one at a time, “butter” the back of each piece and stick it onto the site of the break where it fit previously. Clean the epoxy from your hands and tools immediately. Let the epoxy set as described in the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Only after the epoxy has cured, use the putty knife or the sponge to apply a liberal coating of the pre-mixed grout over the top of the break site.
- Work the grout into the gaps between the broken pieces of the stone. Rinse your sponge in a bucket of water thoroughly and often.
- The drying grout will leave a film on the surrounding tile that should be removed with a clean damp sponge.
- After allowing the grout to dry in the prescribed time as recommended by its manufacturer, apply a second application of grout to fill any voids left by the sponging process. Repeat steps 7 – 9 as necessary. It may take several coatings to get the grout level with the stone around it.
- Smooth the surface of any high spots in the grout by sanding. First use the sanding screen to take the level of the repaired area down to the level of the stone top.
- Smooth the surface using a very find grit sandpaper.
- After you are satisfied with the results, seal your stone top following the sealer manufacturers directions.
About Porcelain
Porcelain is a hard, fine-grained material that consists essentially of kaolin, quartz, and feldspar. It is compacted, and generally, fired in kilns at high temperatures in excess of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Porcelain is relatively non-porous and is a very durable material. If properly maintained, it will last forever.
Your porcelain tabletop has been sealed using a special treatment to resist moisture penetration and staining. The sealer has a very long life, but does require proper cleaning and maintenance to maintain the integrity of the tabletop. Routine cleaning is great for removing stains and general furniture upkeep. However, one of the biggest steps you can take to maximize the life of your Agio furniture is to cover it from the harmful effects of the sun, inclement weather and even those pesky critters looking for a place to call home.
However, it is important to ensure the furniture and covers are free of moisture and debris before covering. It is also necessary to promptly uncover furniture after precipitation and during periods of high humidity to prevent moisture build up. Failure to do so can lead to permanent surface and finish damage, which is not covered under warranty.
Agio has partnered with Coverstore to provide our customers with the perfect covers to protect and extend the life of your furniture. Click here to request an exclusive discount on your cover purchase.
Resysta products have the look and feel of natural tropical wood. They are absolutely water and weatherproof, UV-resistant, do not form cracks or splinter and are 100% recyclable.
CLEANING
The surface can be cleaned with just mild soap and warm water. That’s it!
MAINTENANCE
The use of oil is not required. Always clean, drain, and dry thoroughly before storing for the winter. For best results, always store or cover your furniture when not in use. We recommend commercially available outdoor furniture covers. If scratches occur, moisture will not penetrate Resysta. Flaking of the coating will not occur.
About Sintered Stone
Sintered Stone is a material that is compressed and heated at high temperatures. The material is made similarly to Porcelain Tiles. It is stain resistant and very durable.
Care and Maintenance
Your tabletop requires no special sealer or treatment. It is virtually non-porous, meaning that common spills or stains will not penetrate it.
Cleaning
The Sintered Stone is virtually maintenance free. Just clean the tabletop with mild soapy (dish soap) water. Then rinse with clean water. Wipe it dry with a clean, white cloth to eliminate streaks or residue from minerals that might be present in your water.
Never use steel wool, scouring creams, abrasive cleansers, acids, or petroleum-based product to clean it.
Accidental spills should be immediately cleaned as described above.
Recommendations
Use coasters and placemats to protect your tabletop. Coasters will help absorb sweating by beverage containers and prevent hot containers from leaving rings.
Use trivets or hot pads between dishes and the tabletop to minimize rapid heat transfer. The tabletop can rapidly draw heat from a hot dish and potentially crack the dish.
Cover your dining set with an outdoor furniture cover when not in use.
